Fabric softeners by Casa Kiriko: A multipurpose product
When doing the laundry, many of us like to use a fabric conditioner, in addition to the detergent. Because we like the perfume and/or we like our clothes softer. But softeners have more uses. Some of them will surprise you.
Obviously, fabric softeners have a very defined function: They ought to make our clothes softer. We also use them because we like the perfume they leave in our laundry. And because they reduce static electricity and make the fabric dry faster. Softeners reduce wrinkles and thus facilitat ironing, especially if you use Casa Kiriko’s Blue Easy Iron Softener.
But did you know that softeners have more uses beyond soften and perfume the fabrics? Here are some tips on how to use this product also in home-cleaning:
Carpets: Sometimes our carpet or rug leaves the launderette clean but also rough. Dilute medium plug of softener in two litres of water, pour this mixture in a spray bottle and spray your carpet. It’ll be softer, scented and reduces the static electricity.
Bathrooms: Mix one tablespoon of fabric softener with another one of alcohol and 1 litre of water and clean the surfaces of your bathroom with this liquid: tiles, floor, bathtub, sink, toilet etc. The same mixture also works for cleaning furniture or can be used as air freshener, poured into a spray bottle.
Windows: Dilute a tablespoon of softener with 1 litre of water and spray the mixture on the crystals. Clean your windows and mirror with a lint free cloth and you won’t see any marks!
And if you like painting: Softener helps to keep your brushes clean and soft. Just add some softener to the water with which you clean your paintbrushes.
