How to clean heating radiators
Before the arrival of the cold you should clean the heating radiators. With the time they accumulate a lot of dust and dirt underneath and inside. This not only looks unattractive, but can also reduce up to 25% heating power. Besides, the dust rises again and again and also dries the atmosphere. Therefore, it is advisable to clean the radiators regularly. An easy task with Kiriko products and some tricks.
During the cold season, with the heater on, radiators attract dust almost magically. The air currents in the room do the rest. Lint can be removed relatively easily with a duster or vacuum cleaner with extra flat nozzle (make sure the heating is turned off and the radiator’s cool, spread a towel or cloth underneath).
Once the dust is removed, fill a bucket with warm water and add a little of Kiriko’s Pine Scented Ammonia Cleaner. Dampen a cloth with the solution and drain well. Clean the outside of the radiator with the humid cloth and dry with another cloth. Dry the grooves with a hair dryer.
If the radiator has rust stains, soak the affected area with a dry cloth dipped in turpentine. Rinse the surface with water and wipe it with a dry cloth.
